Security & Tamper-Evident Labels
VOID films, destructible constructions, fragile papers, and printed security features can be considered according to the package and the type of opening evidence required.
Test the complete security construction
Tamper evidence depends on the face material, adhesive, package coating, dwell time, storage conditions, and removal method. Confirm the intended result with the actual application surface.
Tamper-evident seals matched to the packaging surface
Tamper-evident labels show evidence of opening or removal. VOID transfer films, destructible materials and fragile paper provide different removal behaviors for boxes, containers and equipment seals.
Materials & adhesive
Choose between a transferred VOID message, a visible pattern in the removed film or a destructible face stock. Adhesion and tamper evidence vary with surface coating, temperature and time after application.
Printing & finishing
Custom warning graphics, serial numbers and QR codes can be reviewed with the security construction. Holographic appearance alone does not establish a verified authentication system.
What to include in your brief
Provide the package material and coating, seal position and size, expected removal effect, quantity, variable data and storage conditions. Test a sample on the actual package.
Common questions
Do VOID labels leave residue?
Some transfer a message or adhesive to the surface; other constructions behave differently. Specify whether residue is acceptable and the required tamper evidence.
Will one security label work on every carton or plastic?
No. Low-energy plastics, dusty cartons, varnished surfaces and temperature can change performance. Surface testing is needed to confirm the proposed seal.
