Industrial and chemical label projects need a clear technical brief. Identify the substrate, surface, operating environment, required copy, application method, and destination-market requirements that apply to the product.
Product directions shown in our sample library
Battery-handling labels, tamper-evident constructions, serial or QR identification, and durable film directions can be reviewed. Required symbols, wording, resistance, and compliance remain the buyer's job-specific approval points.
Bring the conditions, not assumptions
Product surface, shape, temperature range, exposure conditions, and application method.
Artwork, warning or regulatory copy, barcode needs, and destination market.
Any durability, chemical, abrasion, or compliance requirement that needs verification against the intended use.
Industrial labels for identification and warning information
Industrial and chemical label projects can include product identification, warning graphics, serial numbers, QR codes and tamper-evident seals. The specification must reflect the actual operating conditions.
Materials & adhesive
PET, other durable films and security constructions can be assessed for the substrate and required resistance. Outdoor life, heat, oils and chemicals require explicit performance targets.
Printing & finishing
Print durability involves the face stock, inks, protective layer and adhesive. Provide variable-data requirements and approved warning or identification artwork before production.
What to include in your brief
Supply the surface, temperature range, chemicals, exposure duration, finished size, quantity and application method. Name any standard and evidence you require rather than assuming certification.
Common questions
Can every industrial label be used outdoors?
No. UV, moisture, abrasion, temperature and service life need to be specified and assessed for the construction. Material names alone do not establish outdoor durability.
Can you produce sequential serial numbers and QR codes?
Variable data can be reviewed with the artwork and production route. Supply the numbering rules or data file and confirm final-size scan testing requirements.
