Artwork & prepress services

Send the best file you have. We will identify the next step.

Editable production artwork is preferred, but a reference PDF or image can still start the conversation. We review what is usable, what needs a source file, and what requires repair or reconstruction before production.

File assessment

Every file receives a practical next step.

We do not treat a low-resolution image as production-ready artwork, and we do not rebuild customer artwork without an agreed scope. The review separates technical checks from design work.

01

Ready for production review

The file has usable artwork, dimensions and image quality. Final bleed, color, layers and process requirements are checked against the quoted construction.

Proceed to technical check
02

Source file required

The supplied PDF or image does not contain enough editable information. We ask for the original AI, PSD, EPS, CDR or packaged artwork before modifying it.

Customer supplies source
03

Repair is possible

Limited corrections such as bleed, outlined text, image placement, layer separation or a clean die line can be assessed and quoted before work begins.

Confirm repair scope
04

Reconstruction required

Flattened, pixelated or incomplete artwork may need logo vectorization, typesetting or manual illustration. Complexity, accuracy and ownership are reviewed before quotation.

Clear scope

File checking and artwork creation are different services.

Included with inquiry review

Technical file check

  • Finished size, shape and SKU count
  • Effective image resolution at final size
  • CMYK, white ink and spot-color intent
  • Bleed, safe area and die-line availability
  • Font, linked image and layer availability
  • Visible finishing and variable-data requirements

Quoted before work begins

Artwork repair or reconstruction

  • Logo and simple graphic vectorization
  • Text re-typesetting and layout rebuilding
  • Manual redrawing of complex illustration details
  • Die line, white ink and finish-layer preparation
  • Background, color-block and outline reconstruction
  • Artwork adaptation across multiple SKUs

Customer approval stays in control. We confirm the intended result, service fee and available reference material before changing design content. Reconstructed artwork cannot recover detail that is absent from the supplied reference, so an original source file remains the preferred route.

Layer discipline

Make special processes impossible to confuse.

Use separate, clearly named layers for the die line, white ink and each finishing process. The naming shown is an example; the production team will confirm the final convention for the job.

Public upload note

Reference files first. Production files after review.

The public RFQ accepts PDF, AI/AIT, EPS/PS, PSD, INDD/IDML, CDR, DXF/DWG, TIFF, JPG/PNG, ZIP, RAR and 7Z files up to 25 MB. Put SVG/SVGZ and linked artwork packages in a ZIP archive. Larger production packages can move through an agreed secure handoff after review.
