For food and beverage packaging, begin with the product, storage and use conditions, application surface, and destination market. Any material or compliance discussion must be matched to the actual specification.

Clarify the environment and requirements
Product type, packaging surface, storage and handling conditions.
Artwork, required copy, barcodes, and market-specific considerations.
Application method, SKU profile, and expected order pattern.
Plan food, beverage and supplement packaging labels
Food, beverage and supplement labels must suit the package, storage and application process. Bottle labels, jar labels and carton labels may require different materials even within one range.
Materials & adhesive
Paper and film options are assessed for condensation, refrigeration, oil, handling and container surface. Direct food contact is a separate requirement that needs documented material suitability.
Printing & finishing
CMYK artwork, white ink, protective finishes, barcode graphics and variable information can be reviewed. The buyer supplies and approves ingredient, nutrition and market-specific product wording.
What to include in your brief
Specify application and service temperatures, dry or wet application, container material, dimensions and quantity per SKU. Include any food-contact or certification documentation requirement.
Common questions
Is a freezer label the same as a refrigerated label?
No. Application temperature, operating temperature, frost and condensation affect the face stock and adhesive. Provide both application and storage conditions.
Can you supply labels for supplements?
Supplement packaging can be assessed for roll labels, clear films or extended-content labels. The customer supplies approved content and identifies any destination-market documentation requirements.
