Multi-Layer Label Constructions

Use a multi-layer or booklet label when the pack needs more printed space than a single face can provide. The final construction is reviewed against the container, opening direction, content, and application method.

Define how the label should open and reseal

Share the finished size, page or panel count, reading sequence, artwork density, pack surface, and whether repeated opening is expected. A physical sample may be recommended before production.

Specification guide

Double-layer and booklet labels for extended content

Double-layer, multi-layer and booklet labels add readable panels within a limited packaging area. They can carry instructions, multilingual information and other approved product content.

Materials & adhesive
Paper or film layers are chosen with the base adhesive, opening tab and any reseal requirement. Construction depends on the container shape, panel size and number of pages.
Printing & finishing
Specify print on each panel, reading order, white ink and protective finish. Folding, opening and repeat resealing must be evaluated as part of the whole structure.
What to include in your brief
Send closed size, open size, page or layer count, opening direction, content per panel, quantity and package sample. Identify manual or automatic application and roll requirements.

Common questions

How is a double-layer label different from a booklet label?

A double-layer label exposes additional printed surfaces when peeled open. A booklet construction can contain folded or multi-page content. The artwork area and opening behavior determine the practical design.

Can every multi-layer label be resealed?

No. Resealing depends on the layer construction, adhesive, material and intended opening cycles. State whether it is one-time opening or repeat use before quotation.
